Participation & Consent
What this class is
A small-group, live caregiver-and-child music class that blends songs, movement, and simple calm-down tools. It supports connection, attention, and end-of-week calm.
This class is educational/recreational and not a substitute for medical or therapeutic care or emergency services. (I follow the AMTA Code of Ethics and Standards of Clinical Practice.)
Who it’s for
Preschoolers ages 2–5 with a participating caregiver. All abilities welcome.
Schedule & access
Live on Zoom on the advertised Friday dates/times.
You’ll receive a Zoom link by email after purchase and again the morning of class.
If you miss live, a 48-hour replay (instructor view only) is provided to registered families.
Passes, credits, and refunds
You may purchase a Drop-In (1 visit), 4-Visit Pass, or 6-Visit Pass.
Pass credits may be used for any Friday in this season (Nov–Dec) and expire at season end. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Refunds:
Drop-In: refundable until 24 hours before the class start; non-refundable after.
Passes: refundable within 24 hours of purchase if unused; once a credit is used or a replay is issued, the pass is non-refundable.
If the instructor cancels a class, you’ll receive a replacement date or credit.
Make-ups
You can attend a different Friday (space permitting) or use the 48-hour replay for a missed session.
Replays are for your household only; please don’t share links.
Siblings & household
One household per registration; siblings are welcome to participate from the same device.
A supervising adult must remain present on camera or nearby for the full session.
Technology & privacy (telehealth consent)
By enrolling, you consent to participate via Zoom and understand that online services may have privacy, security, and connectivity limitations.
Please join from a private space when possible and keep software updated.
Classes may be recorded in speaker/instructor view to provide the replay; gallery view is not recorded.
No screenshots or personal recordings without written permission.
During “Show & Share,” your child may be briefly spotlighted; you may keep your camera off or decline spotlight at any time.
Safety & environment
Music and movement are physical activities. Set up a clear floor area, remove tripping hazards, and use household instruments/props safely (e.g., sealed shakers). You agree to supervise your child and participate at your own risk, releasing Music Makes Sense, LLC from claims arising from ordinary participation except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Accessibility
I offer low-volume options, visual cues, and alternatives for each activity. Please share any supports that help your child participate.
Not for emergencies
If you or your child are in crisis or need urgent care, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
